Column: Back to the drawing board

2–3 minutes

Over the past few months, I’ve been working on Cocoon Moments with a lot of enthusiasm. I created posts, products and many pins. But the more I did, the clearer it became: the balance was gone. I spent a lot of time on social media, especially Pinterest, but the results stayed behind. The reactions were small, and the outcomes too. And at some point I felt: this isn’t the direction I had in mind.

What did I have in mind?

I want Cocoon Moments to be a place where you find inspiration — for relaxation, creativity and activities that give you energy. Live. Play. Imagine. That’s the foundation. But I don’t feel it’s coming across the way I want right now.

What now?

That’s why I’m reorienting my approach and activities. Not because things are going wrong, but because they can be smarter. I want to divide my time better. I want to work on things that truly benefit the business and genuinely help people. Things that make them happy. And I want to bring Cocoon Moments back to the core of Live, Play, Imagine. That core stays the same: calm and fun. Moments of gaming, creativity and relaxation.

How am I going to do that?

In the past weeks, I’ve already taken steps. I built a website (almost finished), took courses, dove into marketing and started refining my target audience. Now I’m looking further. At platforms that also fit Cocoon Moments, like YouTube and LinkedIn. I’m exploring which marketing style works best, which content feels natural and which format fits the mix of relaxation and fun.

I’m also thinking about my offer. Maybe physical products. Maybe a quiz subscription. Maybe a Ko‑fi membership. And definitely more digital products, like pub quizzes and printables.

The coming weeks

I’ll be testing: new Pinterest layouts, free pub quiz questions on YouTube, content based on marketing principles and questions for my audience. After that, I’ll see what works and what doesn’t. And above all: I’ll keep learning.

What can you expect?

More visibility and interaction. More behind‑the‑scenes. More digital products, like pub quizzes. And overall more fun. And a clear direction for Cocoon Moments.
